There’s a story here.

On the way to building a steel hulled sailboat with dreams of chartering in the South Pacific, we got sidetracked.  We still built the boat but we set our sights on introducing THEAM conveyors to the US.

John’s background was in Construction and Marine Hardware. But once he outfitted a 32 ft Tahiti Ketch with friends, he took off from the shores of Brittany for a two year blue water adventure.   The Caribbean, Panama,  Marques ,  the Tuamotus,  Tahiti,  Hawaii and under the Golden Gate Bridge.

Once State Side, John and Lolly  (who joined the adventure in Panama)  headed to Colorado; John to learn how to weld and Lolly to complete degree at CU/Boulder.

Visiting family in France,  John happened to stop in at S. A. THENAUD et Fils Mechanic General to see a sailboat, of course. The company had just launched a “ tapis transporteur Theam” and Rene Thenaud pitched the idea of introducing them in the US as well.

Yes,  we pivoted.

We aren’t in Tahiti.

Try  Brunswick,  ME   where we build, sell and service our trademark product..

THEAM conveyors!

When we are able to snag a few summer weeks, we enjoy sailing that boat in beautiful Penobscot Bay.

Merci,  Rene Thenaud.
